All three kids went back to school today. I am sitting in the living room and I can hear:
A clock ticking.
The cat licking herself.
The creak of Mr PC’s chair in his study.
A digger reversing somewhere in the distance.
My stomach rumbling.
The fan on my computer.
And that is all.
Same thing here, except the cat is licking my hair. And, no digger.
