Five Thousand Words and One Penguin

I was getting very behind with NaNoWriMo. Thousands of words behind. I did worry that I would really struggle to catch up, and I have been trying hard to do enough each day to not fall further behind. Today I was determined to catch up considerably. Today I have just broken the five thousand word mark, bringing my word count to 29, 486. I am catching up! I can now feel confident that I will be able to finish, which is a lovely thought.

I have also crocheted one penguin. I am on track to finish my advent penguins by the start of advent, which also pleases me greatly. Miss 12 has joined in with this project, taking on some of the assembly, and the embroidering of faces.

So please excuse the brevity of this post. I am all worded out, and must get on and do some of my neglected housework!

Good job! I just finished candle production, and I know exactly how you feel! It is so good to have that feeling of accomplishment and know that you’re on track. There is always so much more to do, but goals are good!
