I used to run an online shop called Stitchcrafter. I sold cross stitch and tapestry kits and all sorts of related bits and pieces. The only problem with running this shop (apart from not making any money) was not having the time to actually do any cross stitch myself. I was envious of all my customers. When we shut down the shop I made sure I kept one of each of my favourite kits to do myself and one of them was this:
As you can see, I still have trouble finding the time to cross stitch. This one has been on the go for almost two years and I’m almost half way through. I have set myself a time limit of one more year and I am determined to get it finished in that time. Then I’ll move on to my medieval tapestry which is also about half finished. All of which leads to a new resolution: finish one thing before starting another.
