Curry Time

Sometimes something quick and easy is the only thing that will do. This is a great example. We love curry, and in the old days on days like today we would have been off down the road for a curry. We used to live in Farnborough and were regular patrons of a super Nepalese restaurant. We would have walked through the chilly air and enjoyed the warmth of the restaurant and a bottle of red and had no washing up to do.

Now we have curry at least once a week, made in our own kitchen. I have been known to get out the mortar and pestle and fry spices and spend an hour or two inhaling the aroma from the saucepans but recently I haven’t had the time. Most evenings, if I can make something for tea that takes less than half an hour that’s a serious advantage. We recently discovered this curry sauce and we love it. It beats any other we’ve had hands down.

Photo wise, the first one I took was rubbish. When the camera decides to use the flash, it can’t seem to work out focus properly. This photo was taken after I disabled the flash and held the camera very steady while the photo was taken at 1/25 of a second. It worked much better.
