You’re reading a book and you end up having to slow down because the words make you want to roll them over your tongue, savour them, and say them out loud.

Not all the book gets that response (skip the first three or so pages, and go back to them once you’ve been captured by the story), but so few books trigger that reaction at all. It’s a delight to read one that does.
